Where we work, and how we get there.
Western Michigan Handyman is based in Parchment, just north of Kalamazoo, and serves eight communities across greater Kalamazoo. The full list is below — everything sits within roughly a 20–25 minute drive of the shop, which keeps drive time short and scheduling honest.
Kalamazoo, where most of our work lives.
The bulk of the weekly route is inside Kalamazoo city limits — the shop is in Parchment, about 10 minutes from downtown, so same-week scheduling is usually possible for Kalamazoo jobs. Benny knows the housing stock here too: plaster walls in the older neighborhoods, settled door frames, and the drywall cracks Michigan freeze-thaw leaves behind.

Eight communities, all within roughly 20–25 minutes of the Parchment shop. Everything on the list is in Kalamazoo County except Plainwell, which sits just over the northern line in Allegan County.
Beyond Kalamazoo — the rest of the footprint
Kalamazoo is covered above. These seven communities round out the service area; Portage has a dedicated page of its own.
Portage
About 20 minutes south of the shop — Milham, Woodbridge Hills, the Centre Avenue corridor, Austin Lake, and West Lake are all regular ground.
Comstock Township
Just east of Kalamazoo and only minutes from the shop — one of the easiest places on the list to schedule.
Comstock Northwest
Right next door to Parchment. The shortest drives on the list, which makes even small jobs easy to fit in.
Oshtemo Township
West of Kalamazoo, out past the WMU side of town — near the far edge of the radius, but firmly on the list.
Richland
Northeast of Kalamazoo, up the Gull Road corridor. The full service list applies — drywall and paint to decks and siding.
Galesburg
East of Kalamazoo, a straight run out I-94. Same services and the same walkthrough checklist as everywhere else.
Plainwell
The one stop outside Kalamazoo County — just over the northern line in Allegan County, straight up US-131 from the shop.

Benny takes one-off jobs past the listed cities case-by-case, usually when they batch with work already on the calendar. Worst case, he'll point you toward someone based closer to you.
