Interior and exterior. Pre-hung and slab. Hardware swaps, weatherstripping, threshold work, and the sticking-door fix everyone needs at some point. Square, plumb, weather-sealed.
Most door jobs fall into one of these four buckets. We do all four — and the small repairs nobody else wants to drive out for.
Slab swaps, pre-hung installs, hollow-core to solid-core upgrades. Bedrooms, baths, closets, laundry. Reuse existing trim or replace.
Front entry, back patio, garage interior. Always installed as pre-hung for proper weather seal. Threshold replacement and weatherstripping included.
Knobs, levers, deadbolts, hinges, strike plates. Smart locks installed and tested. Hardware finish swaps to match a renovated room.
Sticking doors, dropped hinges, broken strikes, swollen jambs, failed weatherstripping. Most repairs are a single quick visit, priced up front before we start.
For a swap, send a photo of the existing door plus rough dimensions. For a new install or different size, we measure on a free walkthrough.
Written estimate spelling out door type (slab vs pre-hung), hardware reused vs replaced, and any threshold or weatherstrip work. Ordered doors add lead time we'll flag up front.
Once you approve, we book the visit — a real date on the calendar, Mon–Fri 8am–5:30pm. If the door has to be ordered, we line the install up with its arrival.
Demo old door, set new one plumb and square, install hardware, weatherstrip if exterior, swing test, and clean up.
Every door job is priced per estimate — fixed-price or hourly depending on the work. Door cost depends on what you pick, so we list the door separately from the labor on the estimate.
Photo of the existing door + rough dimensions usually gets you an estimate same-day. New installs need a measurement visit.
